Who I am
Pinnell Creative is run by me, Ian Pinnell, a sole trader based in Oxfordshire. I’m responsible for any personal information you share through this website. If you have any questions about this policy, email hello@pinnellcreative.com
What I collect
I only collect information you choose to give me:
Emails: your name, email address and anything you include in your message
Discovery call bookings: your name, email address, the time you book and any notes you add
This website doesn’t use forms, and I don’t collect personal information when you browse it.
Why I use it
I use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold discovery calls, and, if we work together, to manage the project. My lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and taking steps you’ve asked for before entering into a contract.
I’ll never sell your information or add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Who else handles it
I use a small number of trusted services to run Pinnell Creative:
Google Workspace: email and discovery call bookings
Framer: website hosting and anonymous visitor statistics
Some of these services may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law. Emails are also synced to my own password-protected devices.
How long I keep it
If an enquiry doesn’t lead to work, I delete it within 12 months. If we work together, I keep project and financial records for up to six years, as required for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
Show you the information I hold about you
Correct anything that’s wrong
Delete your information
Stop or limit how I use it
Email hello@pinnellcreative.com and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies. Visitor statistics are collected by Framer Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or identify you personally.
If you book a discovery call, you’ll be taken to a Google booking page, and links to social media take you to those sites. They have their own privacy and cookie policies.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
